Synopsis

Premiering ten months before The Twilight Zone, One Step Beyond was the first and only series of its time to focus exclusively on psychic phenomena. Yet as host and director John Newland informed me during an interview in 1999, there was a caveat. The stories had to be real, and there had to be proof.
